Heine Meine struggled but held key hits for Pittsburgh. The Pirates touched four Boston hurlers for ten blows and won 5 to 3, lifting them back to .500 with 13 wins and 13 losses. Yatesboro built a three run lead in the first inning on its home field and held NuMine scoreless as Williams pitched for NuMine and Filliard hurled most of the game for Yatesboro.
