Dr and Mrs John M Clair visit their daughter Miss Blanche St Clair of Mt Pleasants. Isabel Taylor visits Sewickley relatives. Margaret Lawman of Eleventh street spends today and Sabbath with Elizabeth Lowan of Johnstown. W P Risinger of Homer City will attend the Grand Lodge in Reading Monday. Martha Williams of Johnstown is visiting his parents in Indiana for Sabbath. James L Peterman of the Odd Fellows leaves for Reading. Mrs Ira J Leopold of Pittsburgh passes through Indiana en route to Marion Center. Clara Rowe and Milton Huffman visit Indiana before returning to Greensburg.

Recent death notice for Justin M Brainard former Blairsville resident, died at home in Waterloo Iowa on Thursday May 9 1912 aged 74. He leaves a wife and one daughter Mary A Brainard both Waterloo Library members a brother and three sisters and a long list of siblings in Boone Independence Blairsville New York Chicago and NJ. He was nephew of Joseph Moorhead Blairsville Enterprise editor.
Emma May Mack aged 10 daughter of Mr and Mrs Mack of Coral died Thursday evening May 16 at 9 oclock following peritonitis surgery at the Indiana Hospital last week. Survived by parents three brothers and a sister. Funeral at parents home at 9 this morning. Services by Rev J W Shaffer. Remains taken to Armagh for interment.

New York May 18 Judge E H L Gary head of the United States Steel Corp urged steel makers to back government policy and resist destructive competition. He warned labor leaders against fomenting discontent among steel workers while advocating progress and conservative liberalism in industry. He urged workers to stand by their guns and not give up the ship, stressing competitive but not ruinous play and calling for generosity within the industry. A separate note mentions a will endowment for Mrs Straus and a wireless message over 160 miles from Monte Mario to Magdalen island.
