Woman Learns Money Is Safe In Pittsburgh
Grace Crook, 81, of Cresson, leaped into the Allegheny River after a boarder allegedly ran off with her $700 savings. Police Lieut. Thomas Conroy said the boarder visited her in hospital and claimed he kept the money for a restaurant venture in Carnegie. He is held for further investigation.
