Clark grandson and pilot killed in plane crash near Clarkdale
In Clarkdale Arizona on May 16 a crash killed William A. Clark III, 36, grandson of the late senator W A Clark, and Jack Lynch, 48, of Los Angeles. The luxury 135000 flying office plunged 2000 feet into the Black Hills while Lynch, invited to teach blind flying, and Clark shared the flight. Both men left widows, a son, and a daughter. Lynch had tutored Col. Charles Lindbergh and many other pilots.
