Grisemore S Griffith and her sons Carl and Eleanor visited Richard Wilda Williams in Johnstown. Mr and Mrs Robert Bueckshaw formerly of Lewistown, stayed at J W Gibson home and have begun housekeeping at Clement Edson Marsh of Cambria County was a recent caller at Richard Wil.
Washington May 15 Henry Ford aims to buy four hundred ships to boost the merchant marine, a move praised as stabilizing the industry and prompting other leaders to invest in vessels. Critics warn of potential overcapacity, but administration and Congress show willingness to aid starting purchases of government ships. Royal Armory burglary in Madrid also noted. Samuel Griffith of Sp visited Friday. James Johns and family moved from E W Smith home to Reedtis area. Miss Joiner and Miss Gene attended visits at Lincoln Gibsons Saturday. L J Cothern of State College called on friends in Grisemore and Hellwood Saturday. Richard Williams was a business caller at Cherry Tree Monday. John Clark and family were guests at Ernest over the weekend. Mr Davidson of McKeesport conducted business in the vicinity. Pate George was a caller at ShaiSh and Williams Tuesday, with L C Griffith of Pine Flats also calling.
