Cincinnati “few cass runned” traffic bid ends without protests
The Cincinnati Traction Company attempted to ease traffic with strikebreakers and city police. The three cars, each with a full crew and about a dozen strikebreakers, traversed the Avondale line under Chief Copelan and mounted patrols. Police and detectives followed, with around 300 mounted men deployed, but no violence occurred.
