Robbers Take Five Cases Of Dynamite From Coal Co
Five cases of dynamite and 2000 electric caps were stolen from the Chambersville mine magazine of the Eastern Coal Corporation. Mine superintendent John Buggy reported the burglary to County Detective Harry Koover, with the loot valued at about $300. The robbers forced a door to enter, suspected to have occurred Monday or Tuesday and discovered yesterday morning. Detective Koozer leads the probe.

Misfortune for Lou T Reichers in Atlantic rescue
American flyer Lou T Reichers, after nine tenths of a dangerous Atlantic crossing from Newfoundland, made a forced landing near Hastnet Light Ireland. He was rescued from his wrecked plane by the S S President Roosevelt and fishing craft, suffering a broken nose and minor lacerations. The plane sank as salvage proved impossible.
