Pittsburgh Women Honor Indiana Graduates at Recital

The Young women sat adorned with a basket of spring flowers as Rev Robert L. Clark led the commencement church event at the First United Presbyterian. Mrs Pollock, Mrs McIlvaine, Logan Houck and John G St Clair sang in turn while Elizabeth Carson played piano. Dr Colwell delivered the address with Henry Hall presenting diplomas. The Miss Pollock and Rev Mellvaine led the pledge. Benediction by Rev McTivaine closed with an organ recessional and a social hour followed in the church basement offering light refreshments.

Slayers of Her Children Linked to Baltimore Tragedy

Marie Pfeiffer an 85 year old Baltimore mother who shot and killed her two young children Sunday night and wounded her husband before taking a self inflicted wound is hospitalized and expected to recover. Hill Billy murder in Hannibal Monroe County

Raymond Tisher 24 was shot dead by Roscoe Suter 32 in Hannibal near here. Suter, a World War veteran, fled but was captured hiding in woods. Prosecutor J K Sawyers said a confession supports first degree murder charges. The motive cited was alleged theft of canned goods.
