Jury Frees Five in Bond Swindle Case in Pittsburgh
Five men accused of conspiring to defraud Brotherhood Savings and Trust Co. of 102,500 in a 320,000 bond swindle were acquitted by a Pittsburgh jury before Judge Davis Henderson. Names include Roland McCrady, John L. Nelson, William J. Kelly, Frank Redman, and Charles Knapp who had prior sentencing. The jury reached its verdict late yesterday. further charges of embelglement and larceny were also on the table. Assistant District Attorney I H R Phillips planned to announce today whether he would press the remaining charges.

In May near Rossi ter on the Rossiter-Punxsutawney road J D McKillop of Reynoldsville was robbed by Cyril Balls Charles Corbett and Joseph Etherson all of Rossiter. McKillop pursued the trio after the 18000 theft and alerted police who arrested Balls then located the other two suspects.
