Six Knott County Kentucky boys ride out on muleback to spread the Caney Creek Community Center story. They will tell how education transformed mountain families, urging national support to extend schooling across Kentucky West Virginia the Carolinas and Tennessee.

Miss Helen Huston of Kenwood, attending Indiana Normal, tops her parents Mr and Mrs Will Huston with great news. Numerous locals joined the Literary Society at Manor schoolhouse Saturday evening. Miss Minnis Beady of Indiana visited cousin Mrs Jennie Stephens Bud Mra John H Smith and Mrs Ford Smith attended Harry Short's funeral at Onberg Wednesday. Ada McMasters stayed with her parents Mr and Mrs John McMasters at Cherry Tree Sunday. Many attended the W U at the Adama home Thursday evening. Mary Stephens visited Manor school Friday.

Mrs Falla Convalesces After Hospital Stay Near Homer City

Mrs Falla recently operated on at Homeopathic Hospital in Pittsburgh to convalesce at her home near here. Mr and Mrs Frank Henry of Homer City visited at the home of W J McKey on Sunday. A number of local residents attended the funeral service at Hill church last night amid small crowd and family members discussed business matters on Thursday.
