Harrisburg AP A federal official lauded Pennsylvania's industrial development program as second to none praising the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority and its 100 percent factory financing plan. Two Car Crash Leads to Motor Vehicle Charge in NuMine
Police Chief Gilbert James witnessed a two car crash on Route 85 in Rural Valley. He will charge 87 year old John Kormos of NuMine with a motor vehicle violation after both cars sustained about 100 and 200 dollars in damage. No injuries were reported. Pickets Flare At Loblaw's Warehouse
In Pittsburgh a Loblaw Inc attempt to move equipment to Youngstown Ohio sparked a brief picket flare at the Pitt Penn terminal warehouse. Air hoses were cut and tires slashed as Teamster Local 377 Youngstown managed the move. No arrests. About 100 pickets gathered in Liberty Avenue after out of town drivers were allowed home.
