Seek Vogue of Kitty Cats With Parlor Manners
Harrisburg May 6. Legislation in the general assembly would require all cats in Pennsylvania to be licensed with a collar tag and could impose death on unregistered cats over six months old. Anyone may kill a cat caught pursuing poultry or entering poultry premises, licenseed or not, and unlicensed cats on private property could be killed on sight. Licenses would cost 50 cents yearly with fines or jail for noncompliance.

May 6 Detroit police seek a armed man who tied brothers Edward and Charles Spoutz to a railroad track near Mt Clemens. In Harlan Kentucky on May 6 the Evarts violence escalated as a mob ambushed sheriff's deputies and residents. Four men died and two were wounded seriously among the attackers' forces.
