Pluto Marks 25th Anniversary of Distant Discovery

Deaths in Chicago and Cleveland Leaders Pass Away

J Paul Smith 64 president of the Visking Corp plastics maker and former Du Pont associate in Wilmington Delaware died yesterday. Dr Benjamin Van Cleve Andrews 175 retired Presbyterian minister and former Christian education official in the Presbyterian Synod of Ohio and Indiana died in Cleveland. Born in Warren Pennsylvania and Dayton Ohio respectively.

Six Bomb Threats in New York City Areas

New York police responded to six bomb threats reported in rapid succession across Manhattan including Macy's, the Roxy Theater, Webster Hall, East 11th Street venues, East 14th Street theater, a Canal Street bank, and Radio City Music Hall. A homemade bomb with a faulty timing device was found at Radio City Music Hall and searchers had previously failed to locate it.
