Hold Wife In Mate Murder In Ford City

In Ford City on May 5 a murder charge was filed against 28 year old Mrs. Tetha Hoffman in the death of her husband Darrel Hoffman, 26, shot April 5. He died eight hours after being taken to Armstrong County Hospital. Police filed the charge, coroner’s jury said the wound came from an unknown source. Mrs Hoffman claimed her husband fired two shots in a death by self action attempt and testified she awoke to a shot and found him in bed with a rifle. She testified he had threatened to jump in the river if her health did not improve.
