A young man once blind is reportedly given sight, as fire damages multiple buildings in an early morning blaze. Smith and Brown buildings suffer extensive damage alongside Woolworth and Keystone stores, with a tailor shop, barber shop, coal office, chiropractor, and law and hemstitching offices badly damaged.
