Death of Jefferson County leader Irvin at Big Run

Tevin Irvin, prominent Jefferson County figure and former representative, died at his Big Run home Sunday night. Born October 29, 1888 in Liberty, he built a banking and business career with the Irvin family and led local church and civic efforts. Survived by widow, one son, three daughters, a brother and several grandchildren. funeral arrangements pending for Wednesday afternoon.
