Mr. George Potter of Johnstown visited Elder Smith at his home. Mrs. Kirkpatrick of Plumville chatted with her daughter Mrs. John Lyle. A Good Roads meeting drew many to the election house last Friday. Mrs. Carrie Mikesell and daughter Mary visited Mr. and Mrs. Hill Thursday. Elmer Streams spent the weekend at his Plumville area home. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Helman of Indiana called on T. M. Strong Sunday evening.
Starford couple Mr and Mrs Samson Roden have recovered from la grippe and convalesced. James Robertson now acts as Indiana Evening Gazette agent in town, performing well. The Kiskininatas Supply Company dominates the local shopping scene. Mines operate normally. Strangford sits on the Conemaugh river riverbank in Burrell township just north of Blairsville Intersection.
