An Indiana County court settled a 1951 sawmill accident case for 3000. Defendants W. Steel Shaw of New Alexandria and James Riddle of Akron, Ohio agreed to pay 1500 to Ronald Dienes and 1500 to his father Mike Dienes. Two men Woodrow Richell 42 of Rossiter and Robert Wagner 30 of Stump Creek were jailed in Indiana County awaiting court action on burglary and larceny charges. Police say they stole a power lawn mower and other items from the Jack Rishel farm near Rossiter Wednesday. most loot recovered.
