Indiana area police logged three Friday night crashes besides a fatal wreck on Rt 286. Armaugh near old Rt 22 and Rt 56 involved James Eubanks 27 Kingston NC and John Pavlovich 63 Johnstown PA. $150 damage. Indiana Borough Police handled two more: at South 11th and Washington Sts with Francis Nantals 53 Indiana and David Kyler 20 Winburne KY. $1,200 damage and one rider treated. Cows Producing U S Mine Safety Gets Roast At Dinner

Philadelphia AP reports that the average Pennsylvania cow now yields 9,240 pounds of milk per year, up 46 percent from 6,320 pounds in 1950, according to Dr. William T. Butz of Pennsylvania State University.
