Infantry Concert to Perform at Indiana High School
The Infantry Concert Group, all enlisted musicians from major orchestras before enlistment, will play a one hour program of classics and modern pieces at Indiana High School on Thursday March 92 2300 p in a concert backed by Indiana War Finance Committee and the Superintendent of Schools. Conducted by Richard Frestas, the ensemble will also perform March 22 at 8:00 pm in the LS I C auditorium. Notable musicians include Pfc Alvin G Rudnitsky solo violinist with a Stradivarius, and other members from NBC Symphony under Toscanini, Minneapolis Symphony under Ormandy, and the New York Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.

German Prisoners Caught At Erie
Two German prisoners of war who escaped confinement at Reading were captured in Erie Pennsylvania. They surrendered when the Army truck they rode in crashed into a fence in downtown Erie. Soldier May Ask For a New Trial
In Williamsport Pennsylvania on March 21 Army Private Jas E Buckley of Bath New York was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the hitchhike slaying of Vincent Nowakowski a Blossburg farmer last August.
