Passengers Cozy As Snow Drifts Tie Up Trains
Decatur Illinois March 21 residents report the Cincinnati Hamilton and Dayton passenger train trapped by a snow drift six miles east of Decatur for 48 hours. Four engines failed to move the stuck train all night but a relief engine finally brought it in. Passengers had food from the railroad and slept in cars with ample fuel. Another Central train bound for Champaign remained in a drift near Argenta twelve miles from Decatur, with twelve passengers aboard and farmers supplying meals and coffee.

Will Confer Onc e More Between Coal Committees
New York reports a plan for a second conference between seven member committees representing anthracite operators and hard coal miners.
