Rescue of 63 sailors on Easter Island after two shipwrecks

The Nordic landed twenty five English and eighteen French seamen rescued from Easter Island where they had been stranded for two months after Eifel Friedrich sank two barks, Kildalton and Joan. Cavalrymen Admit Thefts In Colorado Rail Post Case

Three Cavalrymen Alvert Pagel Oliver Howard and Samuel Mortimore pleaded guilty to robbing the Walsenburg post office of 15000. Beachey Dies in Taube Crash Over San Francisco Bay

Lincoln Beachey, renowned American aviator, perished when a German Taube crashed during a 7000 foot descent before about 60 000 spectators at Fort Mason.
