Harrisburg AP The Governor's Committee of 1% for Better Education opposes any state aid cuts tied to mandatory school district reorganization. The 25 member executive board adopted a nonbinding resolution at a meeting amid concerns districts fear losing aid. Co chair Duane Wilder of Warren said members are optimistic about public acceptance as the 1965 deadline nears and Fayette County has submitted a plan. The next committee meeting is March 28.
