Gregory Masters, a 6 year old from Evans, told his mother that after death his eyes should help others. He was fatally struck by a car near his home. His parents donated his eyes to the Buffalo Eye Bank. The corneas were sent to a New York City clinic.

Hotel Blaze Kills Five in Wyoming Hotel

A Wyoming fire of 2:55 am trapped guests in an old two story Johnson Hotel in Laramie. Six men died, five identified including Harold C. Cahil La Porte and Boots Smith Laramie. cause was smoke or heat suffocation. Several others hospitalized. Alfred Warner aided by escaping via a hotel sign.

Widow of President Coolidge In Northampton Mass

Mrs Calvin Coolidge aged 76 flagged as recovering in a Northampton hospital after a fall or illness with her condition described as not serious by Dr Hugh Tatlock. The report notes her residence a mile from the Coolidge family home once occupied when he was a lawyer and Massachusetts governor. Lacrosse is cited as an American Indian origin of the game.
