ELIZABETH Colo March 18 a bucket brigade helped steady a blaze triggered by an explosion that wrecked a garage and shook the town. Fire engines from Denver Aurora Littleton and Castle Rock aided volunteer crews who kept three other buildings from catching fire as residents passed water from pumps and cisterns. Four cars and a school bus were destroyed and power was briefly cut. Sheriff Roy Peon estimated the damage at four thousand dollars.
