James Boyd Fisher dies at Dormont after long illness
James Boyd Fisher 49 district manager for Standard Oil Company of Pennsylvania and former Indiana operations head died at his Dormont home after a long illness. Born April 2 1885 in McWilliams Pa he moved to Pittsburgh in 1926 to lead Waverly Oil Works later assuming his final post. He belonged to multiple Masonic bodies Knights Templar Shauffer A A O N M and other orders along with Presbyterians and local clubs. Surviving are widow Margaret Frederick Fisher two brothers a sister and two sons. Funeral services were held at his Dormont home and at Mrs Fisher’s relatives in Kittanning with Masonic rites and interment in Kittanning cemetery.
