A collision on Route 482 four miles west of Ebensburg injured Wotehko and Eileen of Clymer. The stalled truck and trailer, operated by Hassal H. Mest of Gilbertsville, jackknifed during a downgrade after being struck by Dr Wothke driving downhill. Wothke sustained head lacerations and bruises, Bragg suffered hip lacerations and knee bruises, and the car damage was about 400 dollars. Donald L. Lakehart, 17, of Apollo, was injured when a tow chain failure caused his car to swing into a passing truck trailer driven by W. E. Myers.
