A congressional push to regulate radio enters the House as Rep White, Republican of Maine, seeks to transfer oversight from 1912 rules to the Department of Commerce. Despite amendments, Republicans and Democrats back the measure, aiming for passage by soon.
Miss Jennie McIntyre and Miss Goldie Lawman from Allegheny General Hospital visited the Evening Gazette office. New Castle Pa March 12 A verdict in the case of Dorothy Pegran, charged with murdering Marine Sergeant Phillip L Tulley, is expected before night. Judge R L Hildebrand planned to deliver the jury charge when court reconvened. Cross examination offered little new fact beyond her doubt about living with a man not married. The Commonwealth failed to produce a marriage certificate from Mrs Ella Tulley as a rebuttal witness.

He argued destinies are fixed after death with two eternal places and salvation must come in life. He avoided a definite stance on hell’s fire.
Secretary Jardine told the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers' Association in Fort Worth that agriculture is climbing back to a productive national role. The federal grand jury at Cleveland, Ohio charges them with complicity in a nationwide bootlegging ring worth over $140,000,000 annually.
