Mrs Barbara Walter Gibson, widow of Samuel Gibson, died Wednesday afternoon at 5:30 in the Johnston home at 1254 Washington Street. Born February 26, 1840, she had lived in Salisbury and Creekside and most recently with her daughter and son-in-law, the Johnsons. She attended Center Presbyterian Church at Creekside for years. funeral Friday at 5 PM in the Johnston home, Rev. Kiern and Rev. Tredenek W Hinitt officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.

Fire Claims Life Of Two Children At Sunshine

In Carneys Point New Jersey two Pennsville men Howard Whitesell and Gilbert Whitesell were hurt when about 3000 pounds of powder ignited while unloading from a continuous dryer on the second floor of the dry house at the DuPont powder plant.
