Busy Bees Sewing Club Meeting in Blairsville
Mrs. Laney hosted the Busy Bees Sewing Club of Blairsville RD 1 on March 5. President Margaret Williams opened with the Lord's Prayer and minutes were read. Members discussed a trip to Erie, completed 46 cancer dressings and four shirts, and a tribute card was sent to hospital patients Otis Edwards and Williams. A deli lunch was served to fourteen members and a guest. The next meeting will be at Mrs. Ralph Mack on April 2.

The Flderton Garden Club gathered at Gol Fellows Hall with about thirty members and visitors. They voted to donate to the Resuscitator demonstrated by Don Rupert, and Don Kinkie shared photos from Japan and the Philippines. Mrs Mulberger, Heart Fund Drive chair, thanked the group for support, 2H was the amount collected in the community. Lunch was served by the social committee, and the next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday April 1.
