Obituary for Rev. David L. Headlee of Homer City
The Rev. David L. Headlee, prominent Homer City resident and Methodist Episcopal minister, died by carbon monoxide poisoning in his garage at about 10 o clock. Found by a family member after the car motor had run, efforts to revive him failed. A native of Green County about 50 years old, he served since ordination in the Pittsburgh conference and moved to Homer City from Belle Vernon five years ago. He leaves a widow, two sons and two daughters. funeral arrangements are pending.

Washington March 7 officers of the 110th Infantry 28th Division gathered for a banquet and conference praised by instructors for the high standard of their units reshaped after World War I. Col John Aiken commands the regiment with General Edward Martin presiding over the brigade. The group plans to finish preparations ahead of the April 2 to April 20 federal inspection.
