The Rosetta stone, dating to Ptolemy V around 195 B.C., was found in Egypt by a French officer in 1799. A black basalt slab about four feet long and two feet wide bears Greek, demotic, and hieroglyphic inscriptions. Units Seen Sufficient To Neutralize Red Power In Viet
United States officials say the current infantry buildup in South Vietnam should counter main force units, with further arms growth shifting to support elements. The helicopter fleet may grow from 2000 to around 3200 as more artillery, transport, and supply units come online. Total U.S. forces reached about 415,000 on February 25, with a planned rise to roughly 470,000 by year end, aided by a slower buildup pace and a push for South Vietnamese forces to lead against guerrillas.
