John D. Myers, 19, died from a fractured neck after an auto overturn near Waterman on the Indiana Armagh highway about 10:30 Saturday night. Miss Wilaveen Gowin, Katherine Conner, Donald Shank, David Stratton, and Margaret Warden were injured or treated, with several released yesterday. Evans Griffith, 20, had contusions. Three Negroes Die In Electric Chair At Rockview
Three youths, James Parker, Raymond Parker, and John H. Wilson, all of Erie, were executed at Rockview Penitentiary for murder and robbery that netted $30. They died in quick succession after the chair was activated, each receiving prayers from the prison chaplain. The trio, two brothers among them, were convicted of the November 29, 1924, murder of Telliprino Coced in Erie. James Parker went first at 7:01 a.m., with first contact at 7:09 and death six minutes later. Wilson was the other participant in the sentence.

Two Philadelphia youths William Cowen and John Martin aged 17 or 18 were taken into custody in Pittsburgh and committed to Indiana County Jail on charges of larceny of automobiles. They fled from Philadelphia to Lewistown, stole a Hupmobile sedan owned by Hon John Holmes of State College, packed with clothes and papers, and headed toward Pittsburgh before crashing near Blakeville on the Witham Penn Highway.

Funeral for John Marshall Held in Greenwood Cemetery
The late John Marshall of Homestead formerly a popular Indiana youth died in an accidental fall at the American Legion Hall. He was laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery with military honors Saturday afternoon. A guard of 24 Homestead Post No. 60 members accompanied the body and oversaw burial services. Pallbearers and firing squad were from Post 60. color bearers and guards were from Post 141 of Indiana.
