Orange a 38 year old motor repairman suffered injuries in a district accident while repairing a machine. Four other residents were also hurt as a vehicle ran into the scene. The incident occurred on Heilwood road when a reverse position caused a collision near a barn site.
In a March report from Ton the text describes a treaty arrangement where the United States agreed to limit intervention in Panama under a Rooseveltworld policy stance. Pleading guilty to unlawful manufacture and possession of moonshine whisky, Louis Bussi, 50, of Josephine, fined $50 and costs by President Judge Creps in Criminal Court. The court stated Bussi had not sold any liquor. John Ferraro, of Blacklick, fined $50 and costs after pleading guilty to selling beer on Sunday.
Clarence P. Clark a funeral director in Elderton invites the public to visit the newly completed funeral home for viewing on Friday and Saturday March 7 and 8. On display will be caskets vaults including a coffin more than fifty years old.

In Pittsburgh on March 2, Justice of the Peace C. D. Blakely in Turtle Creek resumed hearings for alleged violators of the state milk control act. Twenty seven new informations were filed and fines totaling $400 had already been levied against four defendants. Ralph H. Taylor, chief investigator for the milk control board, said hearings would continue throughout the week with most charges involving selling below fixed prices.
Franklin March 3. John J. Hanna 66, contractor, farm manager and public servant, died of pneumonia after several weeks illness. Hanna served as secretary of welfare and secretary of property and supplies under Governor Finchot. In later years he managed the River Ridge farm estate of the late U. S. Representative Joseph C. Sibley. the 1919 crop set a world record corn yield.
Ralph Moorhead a 16 year old orphan from Lucerne Mines seeks to join the U S Navy. With no living parents a guardian must sign. Attorney James W. Mack Jr petitions Orphans Court and Judge Creps appoint Laura J. Wiggins of Indiana as guardian so papers for enlistment can be signed.
Wayneburg report says Harry Staggers, who claimed his sight was restored amid a field fire, will consult a doctor to determine permanence. Fellow volunteers including Brogwers, previously partially blind, joined a bucket brigade at a compressor station and, after the blaze, Staggers proclaimed he could see clearly.
Six individuals faced summonses before justices of the peace for driving without proper licenses. The arrests involved out-of-town drivers passing through on state routes. Harrisburg clerks rushed to mail about 21,565,000 licenses as old licenses expired at midnight. No extension was granted by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Penalty for driving without a 1936 license is a ten dollar fine.
WPA officials in Harrisburg and Washington pursue charges after a letter allegedly signed by Harry W. Fee to a relief worker sought a $27 contribution. Dallas Dort, chief field investigator, was en route to Indiana as Harry L. Hopkins orders the inquiry following Senator Van denberg's report.
Eight year old Hae Waller of Blairsville fell into an open furnace pipe on East Market street Saturday morning. She landed on the furnace and was severely burned. The pipe was torn open and a Blairsville physician treated her. Her condition was reported not serious. Radiator grating had been removed by men cleaning the pipe.
Attorney Andrew T. Park said a witness placed a man near the spot where 16 year old Elizabeth Louden was believed slain the night of January 18. The nude body of the domestic worker was found last week in a flood swollen stream near Rennerdale with a crushed skull.
Elections bureau in Harrisburg reports a rush to file nominating petitions before the primary ballot deadline. Only about 10 percent of the minimum 1,597 petitions had been filed by Saturday, with an anticipated total near 2,000 due to party raiding act limits. Nominations will occur at the April 28 primary for Republican and Democratic parties.
