Indiana County, noted as a haven for criminals, sees Sheriff Boggs in office amid safety concerns. Detroit police later transferred John Deplene of Arcadia to Indiana County jail after a prior theft of a Packard in Detroit. Deplene had fled with the car to Cleveland before it was recovered.
