Butts Case Set For April In Indiana County Court
The double slaying trial of Robert Earl Butts of Indiana is set for non jury action in Indiana County Court on April 25 after an earlier jury date of March 7. He faces murder charges for the Sept. 19 deaths of Beverly Ellen Butts and Debra Jean Webb at Webb's White Township residence. Four other sentences were handed down: Ivan Yount, Warren Ohio, guilty of robbery, fined $100, costs, 5 to 10 years. to Western Correctional for confinement. William Helman, Indiana, fined $50, 11.5 to 23 months in Greensburg. George Patterson, New Bethlehem, pleaded guilty to reckless endangering, fined and $800, two years probation. James Payne, New Florence, fined $500 and one year probation for driving while intoxicated.
