Franklin Sansom Dead Owner Publisher Longtime Statesman
Franklin Sansom, owner and publisher, died leaving two children James B. Sansom and Mary Edna Bartley. He supported his family after his wife’s 1879 death and remained devoted to his profession party and community. He was active in Indiana Lodge 313 F and A M and a charter member of Indiana Lodge 931 B P O E. Services planned at his home on Church Street with Rev Dr Hinitt and a grave service by the Masonic order at Oakland Cemetery. He is survived by three grandchildren Katherine Sansom Bartley Nathalie and Frank Valerie Sansom and brothers and sisters William L Sansom Daniel L Sansom John P Sansom Joseph J Sansom Bessie G Wilson and Miss Sallie Sansom.
