Passengers Cheer Pilot After Shannon Jetliner Landing
Nervous passengers cheered as a chartered Canadian DC8 with two fuselage holes and a blown engine landed at Shannon Airport. Explosion and church fire injure Seward boy
A six year old, Donald Spangler, was critically burned when a paint filled garage exploded near a United Methodist Church in Seward. He and companion Michael McCreary, six, were treated for burns. the church suffered heavy damage estimated at 50 000 to 70 000 dollars.
