Newell Douglass, once in Bangor, is visiting his North Ninth street home for a few days. Dwight Galbreath, from Water street, returned to Pittsburgh after a brief visit with his parents. Mrs Lisle Galbreath is spending a few days with friends in Cresson. The notice calls on town authorities to stop indiscriminate bill posting disfiguring property and notes local custom has allowed it for long.

Resolute Dominates Fleet In June Trials At Torquay

In Torquay England on June 27 the yacht Resolute led a race over a seventeen mile course beating Vanitie by minutes and Defiance by longer. Shamrock IV also competed as Sir Thomas Lipton’s challenger in her first official trial.
