The setup includes trucks, a 200 HP boiler, multiple washers, finishers, dyeing systems, and related machinery.

Daughter of A. D. and Elizabeth Uncapher lived in Armstrong township then Windber and Johnstown. After husband Hills death she moved to Johnstown with son Errol. Funeral held in Johnstown at 2 pm with Rev Winey and Rev Hillery officiating. She leaves two sons and several siblings.
Booklets from many schools and posters detail project numbers 18 and 12 with a large pulp map. A spring booth raised funds for Junior Red Cross benefiting Toy Mission with High School students. Pieces of a torn parachute and wreckage from an airmail plane believed to be piloted by Maurice Graham were found in the Wasatch mountains near Cedar City Utah. Officials fear Graham may have died in the January crash after a snowstorm. A search will continue. Secretary of the Treasury Mellon told the House Banking Committee that selling German reparations bonds in the United States does not intermix reparations with war debts or enable allied nations to cancel debts. He dismissed Rep. McFadden’s resolution to bar federal banks from buying the bonds, saying banks lack authority for such purchases.

State 100 percent improvement cost $56 260.71 on contract from Oct 8 1929 linking Fillmore with Blairsville via Jacksonville Blairville road. Work begun on 6.38 miles of Traffic Route 843 with a $940 479.40 contract to provide improved outlet to Lovejoy Cockport and Berringer villages and state cost share planned.
