Dilts oversees Foster Care, Memorial Hall, parks and recreation, ICCAP, and Mental Health/Mental Retardation. Joint responsibilities include Planning Commission, Industrial Development, housing, Municipal Services, dog shelter, Hospital Authority, Health, rural transportation, and soil conservation. Commissioner Dellafiora presided as chair yesterday. Dilts, ousted as chair, voted no on some issues due to lack of input. Citizen workshops planned countywide to improve access and responsiveness, modeled after Murtha district efforts, with at least one commissioner present. Courthouse to be closed Monday, July 4. next regular meeting July 13 at 10 a.m.
