Wool growers from Indiana Westmoreland Armstrong and Cambria counties will bring their wool to the B and O freight station in Indiana for pooling through the Indiana County Sheep and Wool Growers Association. Hours are 700 am to 4 pm. Last year 26000 pounds were pooled and marketed through the Commodity Credit Corporation with Kenneth Marriner and Co Boston handling. W B Connell Penn State will conduct a grading demonstration and Marriner personnel will grade. Cooperative associations have marketed wool in Pennsylvania for almost thirty years with about thirty organizations serving roughly 4500 farmers. In 1947 one hundred eighty five wool growers marked through the Indiana pool.
