When Coleman returned home the discovered his wife had left him and learning where she had gone it is said he farmed himself with a shotgun and i started for the Shranger home. When he found his wife there it is said he struck at Shranger and as he drew up the gun the two men clinched the gun was discharged the load going through the floor. A battle royal in which both men were considerably used up followed with Coleman finishing as winner. His wife consented to return home with him.
