Child Innocent Cause Of Wreck

A six year old boy and a baby escaped injury when two automobiles collided. Mrs Leone suffered a severe facial laceration while the boy endured deep forehead cuts and an eye gash. The Majoni child remained unharmed. Both cars were damaged, the Feather car taking the main impact. The injured received medical care and continued their journey. Scott Still Fugitive. State police hunt for John Scott, a Brenizer miner, in connection with a probable fatal shooting of Menzel Frazier amid an argument at Brenizer. Frazier hospitalized with bullet wounds to abdomen, back and hand from an .88 revolver.

INS Joseph R Yellow Kid Weil was sentenced to five years in the federal penitentiary at Leavenworth for possession of stolen government stamps and railway bonds linked to East Chicago and Rondout mail robberies. Weil, famed as a flamboyant Chicago figure who has escaped prison multiple times, plans to appeal the sentence.

100 Machines Lost in Fire at Cook Motor Co

Uniontown Pa June 22 Only three cars were saved when fire ruined the two story Cook Motor Company garage at Bowes Run. Almost 100 machines were destroyed. The loss was estimated at 75000 dollars.

On the stand the witness could not recall details of a Washington conference held before the election with Secretary of the Treasury Mellon W L Mellon Senator George Wharton Pepper and Senator Davis A Reed of Pennsylvania. War Veterans Auxiliaries Coming To Town

The Indiana State Convention of the United Spanish War Veterans arrives this week with 1898 veterans and Civil War comrades joining in events. Indiana Post No 28 G A R plans a Friday parade June 25 and members are urged to wear uniforms out of respect.
