Lutheran Synod Convention Reviews Mission Work Facts

Delegates at the Lutheran Synod convention at Calvary Lutheran Church Wilkinsburg report expanded mission activity planned for the coming year. Buildings and improvements at Bethesda Home for Orphans and other homes in Zelienople and Rochester Pa are detailed with costs. New equipment, ground work, and dormitory fittings are noted along with staff changes and over 200 to 450 children cared for across facilities.

Gangster Faces Year in Jail in Chicago Case
