Miss Shirley Weiland and Leonard C. Hogue united in marriage at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church Nicktown in a June morning ceremony. The bride wore a lace and tulle gown with Chantilly details and a veil crowned with sequins, carried a white orchid, and was attended by sisters and bridesmaids in matching gowns. The groom’s brother served as best man with two groomsmen and ushers. A breakfast at Billers Hotel followed, then a reception at St Nicholas Hall with music by the Four Aces. The couple will reside in Nicktown after a brief honeymoon.
