A Johnstown motorcyclist David B. Quinn 17 is in cool condition at Johnstown Hospital after a crash on Route 56 at Waterman. Police say the bike sped, failed a curve, and went over an embankment around 12:30 a.m. Also, Alan J. King 21 of Apollo treated as outpatient at Indiana Hospital after a two car wreck at the Routes 422 156 intersection in Shelocta. Damage: bike 200 dollars, other car 400 dollars.

Scout Council Plans Meet In Johnstown Penn's Woods Council, Boy Scouts of America will conduct its annual meeting Tuesday June 18 at the Sheraton Motor Inn in Johnstown. The council serves Blair Bedford Cambria Indiana Somerset and parts of Armstrong and Westmoreland counties. The meeting focuses on electing council officers for 1974 75 and includes input from Partner Representatives from each sponsoring institution.
