Bus Tour Promotes Great Lakes Exposition In Cleveland
A Greyhound Exposition bus toured Cleveland yesterday inviting the public to the Great Lakes Exposition. The blue and white vehicle carried seven exhibitors displays, floodlights, a loud speaker, music, and large flags. The tour covers 3500 miles across seven states, visiting about 100 cities before the June 26 return. The Exposition spans 150 acres near Public Square and expects over five million visitors during its 100 day run.

A weekend of deadly crashes leaves eleven dead across multiple counties. In Washington County a couple, Mary McGahan aged 33 and William McCartney aged 30, died when their car struck a streetcar. Edilo Constantine, 54, died near Muse along with four year old Charles Wilson in a separate truck collision. C L Hyde, 42, of New Castle perished on the Elwood City road. Gils leagie, 50, lost his life in a Philadelphia crash against a pole. Joseph Martosky, 26, died after being run over by a truck on a curve near Greensburg. Martin Croftcheck, 23, of Uniontown, died when his car swerved into an embankment and overturned.
