Evening program includes a pageant The Striking of Americas Hour and the film Lest We Forget, with meals by the four Elderton churches ladies aid societies.
Ted McCartney, Ritz Theatre manager, donated four tickets for a week to the largest Ford Day family car. A mistake awarded the prize to the car with 55 boys under sixteen, Mr. George’s car. Boys in that car are asked to call Chamber of Commerce for passes to the Ritz Theatre all of next week.

Miss May Elder and Miss Sedna Elder connect Conemaugh and Winslow Arizona schools. Mrs. Lynn McKee and three children from Durham NC stay with the Elders. Numerous residents depart for visits to California and Pittsburgh, attend commencements, or head to El derton and Princeton. Local officials, merchants, and professionals circulate through Indiana on business or social calls.
