Official Returns of Primaries Held on Saturday, June 5

Tellers G W Tiatt and F N Groft tabulated the June primaries results. Harry Bryan of White township and Sylvester C Thompson of Indiana win the Republican and Democratic jury commissioner nominations with Bryan ahead by 63 votes and Thompson by five. Prohibition delegates and alternates listed. Democratic convention delegates chosen. Republicans set to Harrisburg. Socialist nominee Reuben Hinstein wins 35 votes to 17 for A C Brickle.

Brant Protects Companions in Store Shooting Case

Frank Brant, wounded at Seward Coal Company store, refuses to name companions. State constables from Greensburg and Seward visit him at Memorial hospital. they claim his real name is Mitchell and that he is an escaped prisoner from Huntingdon reform school, which Brant denies. Constables McCune and a Bolivar posse searched the Garfield India woods for Brant's companions but found nothing.
